Saddle bag for the Street

Order a set of saddle bags from Viking. Once Granddaughter starts riding it she will need a place to put stuff.
It will be interesting to see how they look on it

Saddle Bags

Let us know how those work out for your bike. From what I've heard the bolts provided by Viking are too short for the Street and you have to buy the right hardware elsewhere.

I will know soon. From what I gathered the bolt issue resulted from having the back rest/luggage rack.

I just got done installing there bags on my 500. I love the look and the function of them. My only gripe was I had to get bigger thread sized bolts to get them mounted but it wasn't to big of a deal Home Depot had what I needed.

I was lead to believe the bolts were fine if you did not have a luggage rack or back rest on ? Your saying the are to short even with out those on the bike?

I am saying the way I mounted mine was by removing my fender bolts and using those holes to mount my bags. Well the original fender bolts are to short and the bolts Viking provides are not the correct thread pitch to tread in. I do NOT have the luggage rack and I do NOT have the back rest. Hope that helps.

I have both the luggage rack and the backrest/sissy bar, so I need to know if Viking comes through for you on the proper hardware.

Best thing to do in go on their web site and use the chat function they are pretty good at working with you. It may take them a minute to respond.
Mine should be here in side of 10 days.

Fastenal usually has most any bolt, even in black.
