Well, I am kind of partial to the XL1200 since that is what I have.
My bike is actually similar to the 1200T. I have very similar leather bags, and a windshield, although the 1200T has a full shield instead of smaller sport shield like mine. I like the new cast wheels. The 1200T had mid controls, I prefer forwards.
I think it is ideal if you want a smaller touring cruiser bike. Fuel mileage and handling will be better than a full size big twin bagger. But I doubt it would be as comfortable. The 1200 has plenty of power.
If I were looking for this type of bike, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. The Evo 1200 is a proven reliable engine.

Price for the 1200T starts at $11,800.
