Remove seat. Remove allen head bolt at back of tank. Reach under left side of tank and remove fuel line quick disconnect. Slide tank back then upwards. Tilt to the left but don't try to remove fully, there is a ground that is connected that needs to be removed and the fuel pump disconnected. You can also access your cables just by tilting the tank out of the way after in bolting it and sliding it off the rubber holders in the front, so long as you are careful.
