i have had this hideous noise in my bike tire/rotor

what could it be? it's like the proverbial squeaky wheel noise.

can i just spray some wd40 back there or something?

it sounds awful, and i look cool on my ride, so this is taking away from my mojo.

Mine does this after sitting. It stops after the bike gets rolling. My SOFTAIL did the same thing.

i think its the hub dampener that is a rubber star looking thing that goes between the hub and sprocket that make a since soft ride.
