XG500 Shock Bolt Size - Torx or Torx Plus Or?

I don't seem to have the right size bit for removal of the shocks on my XG500 2015 model if that makes a difference.

I have the service manual & the parts manual and the size is not listed.

T50 is too small & T55 is too big and I have no Torx Plus bits, so I'm not sure in that respect.

Anyone ferret this out already?

Thanks in advance.

You're in luck. I checked mine. And a Torx Plus 45 Fits. Both Upper and Lower.

OTC makes a set. Cost about $30 at Amazon.

I bought the black progressive 430 heavy duty shocks. Torx Plus T45 must be bigger than the regular Torx T50 which is too small I'll give it a go thanks to all.

If you look at a Torx Plus and a Regular Torx socket, You will see the difference. The Reg Torx has Sharper Points. The Torx Plus has Wide, Flat Tips. I would advise Caution. Don't use an Impact Wrench. There is 45-50 Ft Lbs Torque.
