90% Power Loss

All of a sudden too. Engine revs fine..starts..just will not translate to forward momentum..I can release the clutch and hold the bike in place with my feet. Giving it more gas increases rev but puts no more power on forward momentium.

Any ideas?

Any smell in the oil it sounds like you may have lost the clutch.

Not that I have noticed, but I will check it in the morning. I just changed it too, less than 500 miles ago.

Check that your bolt has not snapped or come loose on your drive pulley for the belt, this seems to be a recurring issue for a few here. You will have to take the front belt guard off to check this

15k miles..not sure how it happened suddenly, but it appears the clutch cable was too tight..maybe right on borderline. Loosened it and she has all her power back. Waiting to confirm it wasnt coincidence.
