Right Blinker Rewire of Connection

I went to get my state inspection, and they gave me a pre-inspection. I think they saw that it wasn't working, when I rolled up. The front didn't, and the back was working.

We looked at the blinker, as it's loose, but we noticed that the line was snapped. I thought it was the cold, and a mechanic and I thought it was just the sheath.

Well, the wire is completely snapped in two. How do I rewire the two parts back together? He said to use a razor, then rewire them, then use electrical tape. Any thoughts or suggestions or how to videos you can send me?

Thanks that's what I was needing to see. I just need those wire strippers. Idk about that butt. Sounds like a good idea. I'll just use electrical tape. I hope I have enough length.

That or just wait for this mechanic this weekend.
