There are 2 screws & washers at the bottom of the radiator that need to be removed. Then pull out and up, because the top is affixed by a "mounting tab".

When replacing it make sure the tab at the top is properly affixed before reattaching the 2 screws (and washers) at the bottom.

Failure to ensure may result in the cover coming off while riding!

(Page 70 of the Owners Manual, Figure 19 shows the "tab")

I hate autocorrect. I always end up posting some thong I didn't Nintendo.

R&G racing sells a radiator grill that fits under the shroud. I hate the bulky plastic shroud on the bike, does anyone know if taking it off and just replacing with this grill would be sufficient protection for the radiator?

They're Allen Screws. I forget, 4 or 5mm. Only Hand Tighten them. A little Blue Thread locker would help.

It may be time to consider something like the metal radiator cover from Tuffside.
