Another Batwing Fairing success story

To any one thinking about a Memphis Shades fairing on their XG: It fits! It works!

Looks great, I have the Gauntlet installed but after seeing your pic I feel like getting the Batwing too!

disgusting to me... the teardrop look to me has grown, and yes aesthetics vs function on this part... for me... my opinion... its not a full wide glyde dyna bob touring special... it's a street cruiser and one of the lightest HD's...

Very poetic but ...

Just took it out for the 2nd trial run. 65, 70, 75, even 80 mph and no helmet buffeting!! It will make a BIG difference 130 miles out to the ranch and back!

BTW, this run was done with the wind running 10 - 15mph at 270, 000, and 090 degrees relative. I could not detect any instability so far.

I was wearing a modular HJC helmet sold by H.D.

Looks like it will get the job done quite nicely. And, for a 130 mile commute, this is almost a necessity.

Also like the 3 window Deuce in the background.

Put one on my wifes 2018 Street 750 a few months ago. She loves it, wish Memphis shades made the end shields maneuverable instead of fixed. Other than that, it does fit well, had to do some adjusting due to it resting on the Speedo which I did not like, a small adjustment and all good to go.

CdnBikers - Tuffside makes an XG side mount speedo bracket for the Street models "XG_SPEEDO1" that may help with speedo placement. I'm planning on installing the Batwing on my Street 750 with the HogTunes Sound System "MSA-1". Do you think that the speakers of the sound system will necessitate relocating the speedo on this project? Thanks!

1. What year is your XG?
2. What is the Memphis Shades' model number +/or part number?
