Handlebar change

Does anybody know what the rise is on the standard handlebar and what the max rise you can get away with without having to swap cables/hoses etc? Mine is the 17 with ABS and there doesn't look to be a great deal of spare length on the front brake hose. The hose comes from the lever to what looks like a junction box just under the headlight. From there it goes down to the caliper
