Exclamation Lag/leap & Surge - you need to report problem to NHSTA

Posting on this blog about the Low Fuel Light fuel cut-off is helpful - but to be effective you need to file a complaint with the NHSTA ASAP. Your next problem with be with the Alternator rotor key-way coming dislodged and you will have no ignition.

Of course HD knows of these two issues, but they will not issue a recall unless forced to act under Federal mandate.

This can lead to death or serious injury if either or both of these problems happens when passing, changing lanes, cornering...

Go to https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/ , click on file a complaint now.
