You need to refer to the Owners Manual on Battery Removal. Attach the Red wire to Positive. Black to Ground. Run the wire outside. My 750 already had one installed. And it comes out on the Right (Opposite of kickstand). Use a Zip Tie to secure the lead to the frame.

I bought my Street used. The dealer said that while they have the tank off to update the fuel pump, they will go ahead and put on one for no charge.

While he is in there, I'm also going to have him run a cigarette lighter adapter to the handle bar for the GPS and iPhone.

He is providing the tender parts for free, I have to provide the the other stuff.

The Harley cigarette adapter won't fit, so I have to use after market...

Maybe your dealer will do the same if your fuel pump needs to be done as well.

Good Luck.

I love it when the Owners Manual has 5 pages dedicated to "removing the battery".

So glad the dealer installed the HD Battery Tender "plug" at N/C. Brought it out the left side, not the right as some have mentioned.

I have a 750 that I purchased new in September last year, The bike came with the Battery Tender pigtail already installed. The salesman said that it was installed at the factory.
