I personally like the cowl on mine, but I think it's a personal preference...it's your bike dress it how you like.

I like the cowl on mine.
the look of it is one reason I liked the HD street models.
I took a visor from an open face helmet and attached it backwards to the top of my cowl, it does deflect a bit of wind upwards, not like an actual windshield would do, but it is noticeable....just my 2 cents

The cowl is reminiscent of the 77-79 XLCR Cafe Racer.

My personal choice is without cowl....as tht small cowl does not solve anything for me....

I had a 2007 Suzuki M109r (black) and it also had a front cowl that I liked......wished I'd kept it now.

that would have made 3 in my stall

I prefer the look of it with no cowl, but I feel like wind is less destabilising at high speeds with the cowl. I had it off for a long time, put it back on when I started making more of a habit of freeway riding.

If you're going to use the windshield from HD for the street, you have to remove cowl.

Didn't care for the cowl. I would have left it on though had I not put a windshield on it.

I like the look of the cowl (even though I think its cheap looking) it deflects a little bit of wind just enough for me im not into the windshield thing.
Personally I like the wind in my beard!
