Whats this bike?

The article i first found the Harley Davidson Street 500 and 750 had an interesting bike in the background...

and this full shot

Its clearly one of the HD streets but my question is will I be able to purchase one like that? or at least have the option of those accessories. I really like the single seat and bikini fairing...

It's a factory custom concept of the "street" (rdx 800).

Heres a few more pictures I found of the RDX 800

Do you guys think Harley could offer the pieces for it, especially the single seat cowl like BMW is doing with the R NineT??

never ever seen a harley like it, maybe it's a sign of Harley doing something very different in the future? I see the street 500 and 750 as mini versions of their bigger bikes, this XR is just much different

They should make it a separate model, the 750 R or something like that. Maybe that would be part of the mid-model-year offerings the Motor Company has typically been doing lately.

But maybe give it slightly more rearward footpegs. Straight drop down from the tail of the tank would be just about right.

Thats a good idea, i'd love to see what a 750R is like and what exactly they do different to it. What can we expect it to have?

I believe all the parts you're seeing on these bikes are either allready on the market for general use, or will be available from HD in the near future. Were I to get one, I'd immediatly set it up along the lines of the RDX 800 shown here, with the possible addition of an Airtech XRTT fairing.

I believe that is the street bike with a few off the shelf and soon to be off the shelf mods. They wanted to show that these bikes are just as customizable as the rest of the stable.
