200 miles later

Hey all!

I'm about 200 miles in now and wanted to share my experiences.

I bout this headlight, and its amazing. so much brighter and I get noticed. Its only $90 on amazon and literally plug and play. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Second, I did purchase the new rage fender eliminator and love it. I get tons of comments on how good it looks.

Bad thing that happened was removing my rear fender. the left side forward bolt stripped out. What a pain. I had to drill the head off and then trying to use vise grips to get it out was even tough. But alas, it got done and the sissy bar and luggage rack.

I put a nice little green pin stripe off center on the left side and think it adds a little attitude to the bike.

Overall I am very happy with the Street. Low cost and fun. Its been rainy here in Germany so I haven't been out that much. Hopefully the weather clears up and I can put more miles on her.

Joe

I think you're lying.

Pictures would prove me wrong.

Here you go!

I also played a little with the exhaust. Being stationed in Germany makes it tough for exhaust options due to shipping and not wanting to pay outrageous German prices so, I pulled the baffle out. Holy cow was she loud. I couldn't handle it. It sounded awesome, just a bit to loud. I ended up cutting the baffle in half and putting it back in. It sounds good. Not too loud, maybe a bit too quiet, but it sounds better none the less.

Oh and mirror extenders are on the way. Just takes four weeks for Harley to deliver over here.

Looks good!!!! Yeah, the bolts are crap….I almost stripped one out replacing the shocks……those torx head bolts just seem odd sized….I have nice quality torx head sets and none of them fit snug on the bolts….

Nice. I like it. It's funny how such a small thing like a stripe changes so much about the look.
I removed my baffle as well. I too think it's too loud. My exhaust didn't come out as nicely as I've seen others. Mine got hung up somewhere inside and mangled the larger diameter circle things. I thought about cutting it and replacing it, but haven't gotten around to figuring out how to straighten the pieces yet.
