Refinance a Motorcycle loan?

Hi all. Has anyone Refinanced the Loan on their Street? Wondering if I can get a better rate??

I am currently having Problems with the Post Office. My Payment was Due on July 5. HD Credit mailed it to me on June 16. Well the PO handed it to me on July 1. 2 days After I mailed a check without the Statement. As of today, July 6, Has not been received. I mailed it on June 29. Took it to the Main PO in my county. Where my PO Box is located. Dropped it off before 11am.

Thank you Irie. I went to a couple of places before, When I had the Majesty. They were going to treat it as a "Personal Loan" and wanted a Ridiculous rate. Unfortunately I had to carry over a balance from the Majesty. That might hinder my attempt.

My Payment finally posted on July 6.

They also take payments online, less hassle. I use the auto pay so I don't have to deal with it. But for some payments if I forget I just go online & do an EFT or use my debit card. Pretty simple.

My dealer told me to use the Bill Pay service at my bank. Have Never used it before. I just worry the Payment goes to the correct place.

That's what I use, but I go through Quicken. However if I forget to send a payment off I just go online & do an online pay. Virtually all credit card & installment loans have this ability. As far as making sure it gets to the right place, I've only had that happen a couple of times in the 20 years I've been using billpay. You can either go online & get the payment info, or just wait till first bill comes, set up whoever you're going to make payments to as an online payee & you're good to go. If it's a recurring payment, & its the same every month, you can set it up to make the payment automatically for you or just remind you to do it. My bike payment, car payment & house payment are on autopay & quicken automatically enters it in my register. Buy a copy of Quicken & you'll see how easy it is.

I have a paycheck every two weeks, which is usually pretty annoying with any kind of autopay, as I never know what day of the month will be best to take money out. I've gotten better as I've gotten older as far as keeping enough money in there at all times, but it's still frustrating. Anyways, when I setup the HD loan up on their site, I saw that they had the option for every 2 weeks. So I went ahead and did that. Works out great, I set it up to take half of my monthly payment, plus an extra 10%, every two weeks. Since there are 26 paydays in a year, that's a extra month's worth of payments, plus the extra I'm paying, I think I worked it out to an extra 22% per year. With the amount I'll be saving in interest, I suspect I'll have this thing paid off a year early.

Doesn't help matters when the Banks keep raising the Minimum Amounts. Roma had $100 or so. Investors merged. Was raised to $500. About a year later, Now $1k. And get no interest.

Your monthly payment was raised from $100 to $1000? That's more than I spend on rent. Seems a bit odd.
