Has anyone triked or added a sidecar

Has anyone triked or added a sidecar to a Street? One of my intrests is trikes and sidecar outfits. In fact I have owned 3 sidecar outfits including a 1991 Electraglide sport outfit.

Funny you mention that, I was thinking about this the other day. I like the idea of having it able to detach/attach when need be to take other people for a ride. I would be interested to see if someone had attached a sidecar, but I kind of doubt it has been done yet. It seems like most sidecars, if bought new, are about the price of the bike. Used seems to be a much more reasonable option, but I'm not sure how you would "size" one for our bikes or for that matter the amount work involved in getting a mounting system fabricated.

It'd be fun to build one. The owners manual specifically says not to do it, but what does it know? heh.. After my warranty runs out, perhaps I'll dig around on the net for some simple instructions. Seems like it'd go better with the 750 than the 500.

tricycle aka sidecar motorcycles are very common here in Philippines. majority of them are built from125~250cc bikes that have great torque but lousy forward speed; most can never exceed 60kph due to their gearing ratios and the fact that they are often overloaded. even more often their drivers are the worst road hogs without a clue. ride enough Philippine back highways and you'll eventually end up behind one that passive aggressively toys with your ride formation

3 wheeled vehicles are banned on Philippine tolled expressways, so it is rare for anyone to convert their leisure bikes with sidecars

Someone on here has put a side car on an XG750. I have ridden in the side as well as driven the motorcycle thanks to Bob Smithy. The video is from giving the Elderly a ride around the lot where I work.
