A little worried.

Hey guys, been reading through the forum and to tell you the truth, I'm a little worried. It seems like there are more than a few of you that has had some pretty major problems with the street 750. I just bought a 2017 last week and I love it. I already have over 200 miles on it and no problems so far. Anyone out there who has their street for a few years with no major problems? I would love to here some good reports.

Mine had about 10k Miles when I traded for a 18 Custom 1200. All I can say is, Keep up with the Maintenance. This way you'll be Protected if something major happens(Factory Warranty)

Don't worry..... Be Happy..... Hey Scotty....new owner but used one.... for my bike, both of the previous owner I know them well. they rode on tour, about 1,000km per trip. no issue, my harley I got has 24,000 km (15,000miles) on it already. just like any machines, change oil when its due like Tusconmax 1 or as for me, i would change it earlier usually. no savings on these. also in my opinion, one need a bit of luck as some owner with new car/bike have never ending problem while rest no issue at all.

If it helps to console you, I live in a tropical country which all year 91.4-98.6 F, could imagine the heat from the engine whenever I stop my bike and traffic light.

I've had mine for over 4 years now with almost 29,000 miles on her. No major issues. Misadjusted the clutch cable a couple of times. Oil leak on the top of cylinder head minor repair. Otherwise I've been very happy with my 2015 Street 750. I even got to ride Bob's with a sidecar and ride in the side car.

I am going on 2 years on my 2016 XG750 and recently crossed the 10k mile mark and so far no issues—knock on wood. My dealer did say I need new tires but they are asking over $700 for tires and labor so looking into other options.

I have 2017 ABS model and this is my second riding season on HD. No mayor problems, only little things (like a little bit of rust). Apart from this and some small details (like the looks of the harness) it is very good bike with great engine, that I truly like

I bought the 2016 model in January of 2017. Now in August of 2018 I'm knocking on the door of 10,000 miles without issue.

It's not unheard of for a lot of vehicles to have issues for the first or even second model years. These bikes had some issues with the fuel pump and brakes which were corrected by 2016. The 2017 model brought a few extra features like a tachometer the multi-function display. Now you can even get ABS.

One thing to keep in mind is that with a forum like this you are going to hear a lot from the people with problems. That's because when you have problems, where do you go for advice but to the forum?

Thanks for all the input guys! I really love my bike, and can't wait to put some real miles on it. Going for a ride to Santa Barbara today.
