Storage inside the rear fender

Anyone know of any issues with putting anything inside the rear fender? I put together a little tool kit for my wife’s 750 and searched the forum for possible storage areas on the bike. The round tube on the frame was too small but I found if I took the multi-bit screw driver out of the kit, the pouch was now flat enough to fit inside the fender. I put the screwdriver in the frame tube along with the registration and insurance card (in a ziplock bag).

I got it through Amazon from Speed Dealer Customs Seat Accessories Archives - Speed Dealer Customs | Custom Motorcycle Parts. Here’s a pic of mine and another of the tool pouch.

Here’s another style you can get at Revzilla: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...rley-1984-2017

Thanks for that - I have a 2018 Street and there is something electrical in the space you refer to - not sure what it is and don't want to mess too much but I guess it could be the alarm / imobiliser. If I can get a manual for the 2018 model I will be able to tell.
