Hand Control Assembly Replacement

Has anyone replaced the throttle housing/throttle tube with OEM parts? Some A$$hat pushed my bike over yesterday and both need replaced. The diagrams don’t show if the buttons and/or inside plastic pieces are included. Dealer couldn’t tell either.

PNs:
71500116 ‘hand control assembly right’
5610043A ‘grip assembly throttle right’

You may have already seen this?

The other parts you require, i.e. starter switch do not appear anywhere else on the parts diagram so I would say they are included in the package

Also, someone here is selling one on ebay and has included a picture of the front of the assembly with switches included.

Parts diagram is the same as the dealer had. The eBay post is comforting. The only one I could find on uS eBay is beat up and they want $60. Guess we’ll see when the part comes in. Thanks

If anyone cares, the parts came and the ‘assembly’ is an assembly. All switches, screws, and wires included. Surprisingly cheap considering. Plug and play other than the ridiculous “wiring harness” zip ties along the way. Slid the tank back and cut some ties to get to the 4-wire plug connector and it wasn’t too bad I guess. Guess I’m mostly mad I didn’t have longer black zip ties and had to use opaque white.

Now to go back to the same place and see if the MF’er wants to try again when I’m watching.
Propnut and 8831lee like this.
