Street 750 engine impact/performance after removing baffle from Stock Exhaust

Requesting Senior/Experienced guys to respond on below:

1. What will be the impact/performance after removing baffles from Stock Exhaust.

2. What will be the impact/performance if we install VnH air filter & exhaust.

As per HD India they void complete engine warranty in above both cases.

Please suggest.....

Thanks in Advance!!!!

I can't say what the effect would be, but I wouldn't be too quick to do anything that voids the warranty.

Devender:
The expected result would be an engine that runs lean and works the cooling system hard. The sound would be loud from tail pipe. Also you might loose torque and HP due to insuficient back pressure. This would void warranty on damage to anything directly resulting from the mod. The mod could be theoretically acceptable with an accompanying tuning of your ECM or fuel management system. Harley has all kinds of statements out there about void of warranty, but the Motor Company needs to prove damage as the result of "abuse" or you need to prove that it isn't. Sometimes the fight is not worth the hassle.
Just increasing air intake or exhaust flow separately does not affect the performance much so the O2 sensors can compensate for the small changes. Your bike will still be either constapated or have asthma.
What I would suggest is to get the SE muffler and air cleaner and HD fuel remap download or do another tuned setup. It promises to be cheaper, won't "void the warranty." And you get to keep the stock muffler to sell or keep

Yes, absolutely. There is also a company on this forum offering pipes for the Street. You might get by with the Stage 1 download from HD, but I would recommend a download for specifically the setup you choose. If you can't find a download providor, you might need to have a specialist tune the ECM on your bike with a dynomomiter (dyno). Tuning time can be expensive.
Another option would be to buy a fuel management system unit that reprogramms the fuel delivery amounts to the injectors. The kind I have used have 4 pods: one of them sets fuel at idle RPM; another sets fuel for cruising speed; the third sets FOT; the last sets the RPM that the second pod kicks in. With a little acquired skill, you can set the pods by riding and dialing the pods up or down till you find best performance feel. On the dyno a tech can do it more precisely.
I thought about a caviat. I don't know if the header has a catalitic converter. If it does, it would need to be gutted before any dyno tuning so the O2 sniffer device can get to each cilinder's exhaust pipe through the muffler. Does anybody know if the Streets in the USA market have Cats? I think they must.

That's horrible, i think voiding warranty on the entire engine is a bit extreme.

Have you or anyone you know tried the VnH exhaust? How does it sound? To me it looks better than the Screaming Eagles. Any inputs?
