I dragraced an Indian

I dragraced an Indian and won.
I now know why Harley Davidsons are better than other motorcycles.

We raced from one stop sign to the next stop sign and the indian scout was so far behind me that it was a joke.
If I had that bike I'd sell it and buy a HD Street 750.

I test drove the Scout 60 before buying the Street and frankly if it weren't for price I would have gone with the Scout in an eye blink. It was at least as quick as the Street and was a much more polished bike.

Not to say that I don't love my Street, but of the two the Scout is easily the better bike where money is not an issue.

If you had purchased a Scout, you'd feel pretty stupid when Indian goes bankrupt again.

They will be worth next to nothing and they'd be hard to keep running without parts.

And they are also made in China, buy American, buy a Harley Davidson.

Um, did you miss the part where I did buy a Street? What's more, I would never feel stupid for buying something I liked.

Indian has the Polaris money behind them now and I don't think they will bankrupt any time soon. I have a friend who sells for Indian and they are doing very, very well.

SKEIVE

But you were smart enough to buy the Harley

You said "I don't think they will bankrupt any time soon", but it could happen very soon.
And when the buyers find that the motors and many other components are made in China, how many will want to keep that commie junk.
