Have you tried getting a quote from H-D Insurance (Progressive). It's cheaper than Progressive directly and cheaper if your a HOG member plus, if you already have progressive polices you get that discount too.

It's hard now days to compare insurance quotes. There are to many variables that are different between 2 different people quotes on the same bike; age, location, years riding, MSF Course, accidents, credit score and so on.

I'm super stoked you posted this!!!

I have a Progressive policy I purchased directly from them and my annual premium was $757. For the exact same policy I now pay $368! The lady on the phone said the HOG discount is 5% and she wasn't sure why it was such a huge difference but I'll take it!!

Awesome! They have an agreement to offer H-D owners the lowest prices possible.

Uninsured/underinsured is what makes it expensive that alone doubles the yearly premium. I went with dairyland as progressive wanted to charge me $1500 year.versus $367 yr by dairyland

I have Dairyland insurance, along with a separate health insurance policy through Anthem, and for liability only on my hubby's Honda Shadow and full coverage on my Street 750, we pay out less than $200 a year. I checked with HD/Progressive and to cover just me on the 750, they wanted $500 a year (to start). So I suggest getting a quote from Dairyland.....

Might help to post where some of you guys are from.

There are a lot of different counties, states and provinces on this site!

I'm in Ontario ................ 2015 XG750, with TD Monnex ..............$500/year, in my 60's, 1 speeding ticket, no accidents, full coverage .........comprehensive & collision

I hate autocorrect. I always end up posting some thong I didn't Nintendo.

Just got a Street 750. Shopped around for insurance. Age bracket: 50+, no accidents, married, etc. I ended up choosing esurance; I also have esurance on my autos. My bill for the XG750 is $75 - per YEAR. Yes, you read that right, it's $6.25 per month, billed annually, $75 (plus a $2 fee, so $77 total for 2016). And that's for the highest liability coverage they offer (I think it was $250,000/$500,000, something like that). No collision or comprehensive or uninsured motorist or any of that stuff, just general liability.

Do be aware that esurance seems a tad bait 'n' switchy; they've been raising my auto rates by about 20% every renewal, so I'll have to switch away from them sooner or later. So definitely shop around, Progressive was like $360/yr for the same coverage, so you never know what you'll find.

Look at Dairy Land
For the most part they have always had the best prices
150.00 per month is out right stealing for some one who has a clean record
There is a lot of talk here about progressive
Be very careful with that company
They are owned by Liberty Mutual and are very tough to deal with
And can be very quick to deny claims

Good luck....

It is what it is….

I have state farm & the MC portion is about $29 a month for full coverage. I also have two cars, homeowners, boat, umbrella policy so I get a multi-policy discount which helps. The only "gotcha" is they won't cover if I get injured.
