Thumbs up "Awaiting Delivery" feeling Excited!

I got a call form the dealer & he infomed me that my HD street 750 will be delivered soon .

I will post the delivery experience in detail later.

Initially I was bit confused between Street 750, Iron 883 & Bonnie.
Thanks to all of you that after reading all your experiences & threads and also looking at the weather & road conditions in Mumbai I decided to go for Street 750.

Thanks to all of you!

Congrats! Waiting to hear of your experience once you receive your bike. What colour have you chosen?

I was sure to go for Gloss colour but was confused between Red & Black. Finally I landed on vivid black!

Did the dealer give you any idea of how soon "soon" is going to be?

I was expecting to get the delivery today but the dealer told me that it will get delay for a couple of days due to heavy rains & some formalities are still pending. I hope the delivery would happen anytime this week.

Hopefully it does, it's still early enough into the week so there's a good chance that you should get it by the end of the work week, if so at least you'll have the weekend to mess around with it?

Because my Street 750 wasn't based upon the dealer order but instead based upon the factory allocation the dealer didn't have any tracking on when it would arrive. It was a process of checking every week when the Harley delivery arrived to see if it was on the truck.

Like the proverbial "pot that won't boil while you're watching it" my Street 750 finally arrived the week that I decided to take a road trip on my Sportster to Dawson Creek BC. LOL

Hope yours arrives within the next couple of days.

I checked with the dealer & it was in transit & has landed today in the yard. Its almost end of this week hence I think I will get the delivery in next week only.

It does require Dealer Prep and that depends upon how busy the Service Dept is. With it being the middle of summer the service departments are usually booked up so I agree with you.

that the downside to ordering during this time, still worth it though, just have to be patient and remember that it's for the long term.
