How will you guys be spending the days before riding season starts again?

I have been trying to keep an ear out for the HD street 500 and 750 but only to find rumors of it arriving sometime in 2014. It would be great if it were to be released in the first quarter but no offical news yet.

With this time now being winter and riding season has come to an end, how will you guys be spending the time to survive without riding!

As I wait for the HD Street 500 I will be taking a few ski trips, but other than that I will just be hibernating and waiting for the warm weather to come back. I also might take a trip to Vegas since my uncle is getting married. So plenty to keep me entertained in the meantime.

You?

Come on now... I had my Rebel out on Christmas day. Any time the temps get into the mid 40's-low 50's AND there isn't sand/salt on the roads I'm out riding. Not out on long rides but an hour maybe. I was out for about 2 hours and until almost dark last Thanksgiving Day. Got home just in time for some turkey dinner. I was out riding maybe 4-5 times last Janurary, and about the same last February.

You get the weirdest looks from people when riding a motorcycle in January...

YES! A ski trip, that reminds me I have to book some time off for that or the old lady will have my head. Thanks for the reminder @Yusef;

And maybe somewhere in there we have a trip planned for Dominican Republic for a wedding as well. So us both have enough events to keep our minds busy away

You?

Nope no heated grips on the bike. Had some on the ATV I used to own, they do work!

As a deer hunter I am "accustomed" to the cold so I may be better than others enduring colder temperatures. Several years ago a buddy and I headed to the woods to our treestands. When we left the truck it was -1*, ended up 2 hours later at dark to be -5*. THAT was cold...

Heated gear makes this even easier!
Yup, as long as there is no salt, sand or ice on the road (and I don't have to chauffeur toddlers) I'm riding.

@firehawk

Sounds like to me you are accustomed to being cold blooded. I wouldn't be able to do it though Ithrive in hotter climate.

Did you say ...hunting!? What do you have planned for this season?
