Tall rider question

I tried searching the forum with no real results.

I am 6' 4", weigh 205 and have a 34 inseam.

I love the look of this bike, just not sure if I will fit on it ok. I heard the seating position is kinda cramped for an average guy. I used to have a Ducati monster 750 which was kinda cramped but your feet are more underneath you on that bike versus this one.

All opinions and thoughts are welcomed.

I think you can get a taller oem seat , after that you may want foreward controls to stretch your legs or extend the shocks and forks then lower the footpegs , not sure what else but they say the beauty of the street is its ready for customising , I will be modifying mine when I finally get one here in the uk , best have a test ride if you can.
cheers

Go to a dealership and test drive one, ask them to put a tall boy seat on, test driving it will tell you all that you need to know about how you will fit on it.

I am same height as you are, and I am also wondering if this bike is right for me or not

6'2" here with a 33 1/3" inseam.

Bike feels cramped for me. Especially with long rides (2+ hours). I'm typically using mine for in town riding about and to and from work.

I did remove the stocks bars and followed flame_girl's use of a drag bars and it did help with stretching out my lower back.

I am however still on the hunt for a seat that can set my butt back farther. So far no luck yet.

Do you have the tallboy seat on or the stock one?

I am 6' with a 34" inseam and I had them install the tallboy seat.

When I test rode it one of the few things I didn't like was that my riding position had my feet under the pegs so more often than not after a stop I would pick my feet up and flip the pegs requiring me to consciously push them back down as I am also trying to accelerate and turn. I brought it up and then pulled a tallboy out and installed it real quick.

This seat puts your ass just a few inches back and sits you higher so your knee brings your foot back a little bit further. Coming from a stop now is a smooth motion to place my feet on the pegs. I highly suggest the seat.

I have a tall boy seat and highway bars toss some pegs forwards and stretch out honestly get about the same feeling as the vrod or the other foot forward controls out there. For a heck of a lot cheaper as well.

We're hooked up with American Iron Horse Seats and can probably accomodate your seat modification needs. Email me at [email protected] and we can discuss what you need. Dennis
