Shiny, big and full of bling it looks good just sitting there. I am sure your wife will be more than happy with her 750. What colour did you get her?

We got the glossy black for her....we liked the denim but the thing about the denim is, you scratch it, it's permanent....the gloss you can buff out...

It's called a "patina"

I hate autocorrect. I always end up posting some thong I didn't Nintendo.

Yes I opted for vivid black. Once it is washed it blinks in the sun, just asking to be taken out for a spin. A day or two later you can see every small speck of dust. For the reasons others have mentioned, I am happy not to have ordered the denim colour.

I assume you've intentionally chosen to be "Tail-end Charlie" because your wife is going to leave your Softail in the dust on her 750 whenever she wants to. LOL

Kudos to you though for getting her the 750. It's an exceptional motorcycle for her and she can use your Softail for luggage storage if you go on road trips.

So, are you also keeping the 18 year old Honda? It's moving rapidly into the "classic motorcycle" age where keeping it is worth far more than what you can get for it in dollars.

My partner rides a 1975 KZ900 and he'd be a fool to update to a current motorcycle. I also owned a KZ900 in the 1970's and I kick myself in the ass over ever selling it.

LOL....

Yeah...I'm gonna hold on to the Honda....I've had it so long......I put the passenger seat back on it and took the seat ring off....so I can take my little one for rides....she's loving it......I was thinking about that Softail S....20k.....or I could get a nice used bike down at the Chopper Gallery in Temecula already fixed up...they have more than just choppers.....Bobbers, Baggers.....everything.....that way I could still have fun riding stag and also be able to take the little on rides on the Honda......
