Messed up. Big time

Hi all. Feb I traded the 15 750 for a 18 Custom 1200. Which increased my Payments and Insurance costs. Let me start at the beginning. Started a job at Sears Auto Center last Oct. Things were going ok. Slow and Busy times. Last Thursday I was informed by the shops Assistant Manager (DM was there informing the rest of the store employees) that the Shop is closing on July 30. Bad timing for me. August I have both Car and Motorcycle Insurance Renewal. As well as Motorcycle Registration renewal. On top of my regular bills. Haven't had much in the way of actual Job offers lately. Now I'm Scared.

Be positive pal. When one door closes, another one opens. If I can remember there was a small gap before you got the Sears Auto job. Yes the timing may suck, but you can thank your lucky stars you live in the Land of Opportunity.

My niece has just turned 44 years old. Since she finished her university degree and stayed on an extra year or two to complete her masters degree, qualifying as an Industrial Psychologist, she is still without work and staying with her parents. My point being, had you been living in this country your situation would have been a disaster, as over a third of the people able to work are unemployed. The current economy does not look like changing any time soon.

Thank your lucky stars (and stripes) that you can and will be able to find another job soon.

Last job I interviewed for, Was asked if I was "Retired". Usually don't hear back from employers.

I'll say it again -- you should be working in a Harley dealership. Especially with the new engines, there's always growing pains, there's always lots of warranty repair early on. Good luck.

Today I called the Hyundai Dealer where I got my last 3 cars from. Spoke to the Service Manager. He wants me to come down on Monday for an interview.
Work has been bad lately. Mostly just Warranty Flat Repairs and Rotations. Did manage to get a decent brake job on a 2004 Saturn Ion. Front Pads/Rotors, Rear Shoes and Drums. Lady came in today, At her Husbands urging. To have us check the brakes on her MDX. Valvoline Lube place told her she needed brakes. Fronts were 8/32" Rear 6/32" Not needed. She thanked me on her way out. Told me Good Luck with the closing bit.

As my luck runs. Tucson developed a Misfire this morning on my way into work. I scanned it and found P0303. Cylinder #2 . Took it apart at work. Didn't see anything wrong. Tonight it ran fine on my way home. I do have an appointment with the dealership on Mon morning. As the Tucson only has 17k Miles. and is under Warranty. Rock and Hard place. If I didn't touch it, Looks bad on my part. Since I am applying for a job there. If I do touch it, Its under Warranty.
