Roads to ride bucket list

With all this talk about the street, I just thought why not talk about the roads or trips you plan to ride out in the future.

Seeing how @bbally has his epic rides gave me an idea to create this thread.

Well, on my list is Stelvio Pass one of Italy's most famous roads. The Stelvio Pass is a mountain pass in northern Italy, at an elevation of 2,757 m above sea level. It is the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps, and the second highest in the Alps.

Don't know exactly when.. but one day.

Post em up guys!

while not single roads per se, I'd love an opportunity to ride in Monte Carlo around what would be the Circuit De Monaco. Although you won't have the racey bits still seems like it would be a fantastic ride. The other would be the roads that make up La Sarthe, ride from Le Mans to Mulsanne and back to Arnage, mostly done at full throttle (if no one is looking of course).

While not your typicals I think it would e soo cool to ride on the last of classic GP road courses

It's hard to beat Pacific Coast Highway north of Morro Bay on a Laguna Seca GP weekend. Great scenery, great swervy pavement, corner speeds ranging from 15 mph hairpins to almost triple digits and usually plenty of bikes to play with on the way up and back. South Grade Road on Mount Palomar is a close second and you don't need a GP weekend to find lots of company to dice with.

I guess nothing comes near a trip from Chandigarh to Shimla on Himalayas and we divert midway to go to Kasauli also sometimes.

Remember making those trips when I was a Student in DAV College, Chandigarh we friends from hostel used to arrange late night trips uphill with Whisky, Soda, Snacks and disposables as shops were closed at that time and used to be enjoyable!

That road is one of the coolest in the world. Who wouldn't want to drive on it?

It'd be cool to take a drive on the Autobahn. See how fast you can go before you get too scared and have to slow down.

Another great road would be Great Ocean Road Victoria, Australia. Not sure how I would get my bike there but one day. Relocate...

Just make sure you don't exceed 80km/h (50mph). Victoria is probably one of the worst places to drive/ride in Australia because the speed cameras (owned by private contractors to the state government) have a virtual zero tolerance, you can receive a nice speeding fine in the mail (usually several hundred dollars) for as little as 1 km/h over the speed limit.

Its a pity because the great ocean road really is beautiful but given the choice of driving/riding in Victoria with their ridiculous speed enforcement rules or contracting a dose of smallpox, I would take the smallpox every time thanks!

Glad I rode the Great Ocean Road before they clobbered it with Gatsos! Yep, it is every bit as good a ride as Pacific Coast Highway. Just a wonderful ride.

Victoria was where I had my introduction to red light cameras. I was sitting at a traffic light on Tourak Street in Melbourne circa October 1990, looking for a gas station (petrol bowser for our Aussie friends). I nosed the bike a little past the limit line to have a look down the cross street and, blink, this blinding white light flashed. What was that? Clueless I sat there until the light changed and went on my way. I never received a certificate of accomplishment in the mail, but a buddy down there told me later that flash was a red light camera.

We have them in the US now and they are a constant source of turmoil with the public and in some states the courts.
