Clifton Colorado to Moab the back way

Taking a group down 141 through gateway colorado to the 90 through paradox valley out to Bedrock colorado then onto the 46 and north on 191 into Moab. Overnighting there and then coming back over the La Sal Loop and up the 128 to the ghost town of Cisco Utah and back to Clifton.

Get out there turn tires into memories!

When you say ghost town do you really mean that no one lives there anymore? Or is it a ghost town like Detroit or Flint is?

Not a chance. But we were trying to create our own version of professional photographer David Lee Thompson. Who's work hangs in our entertainment room.

Historically I've had a very hard time riding with groups because I always have this irresistable urge to "turn here" while everyone else is going straight. LOL

I only make it to my "destination" about 1/2 the time and even when I accomplish that feat it's usually not by the route planned.

You ride with a destination in mind? Hmmm... I will have to try that sometime.

ROFLMAO

Yes, sometimes.... well sort of anyway.

Once it was a warm day and I was living in E Washington and I told my wife I was going to take a ride to Tillimook OR for an ice cream cone (at the the Tillimook cheese/ice cream factory). Somewhere in Oregon I made a "left turn" and ended up in Newport on the beautiful Pacific coastline. A four day ride along the ocean and through the mountains before I made it home again but every minute was wonderful.

It's not like my destinations are all that "fixed" in many cases.

PS If you ever ride along the Oregon coast get a room at the Agate Beach Motel in Newport. A great place to stay. No phones or TV but the whole Pacific Ocean is at your doorstep.
