Motorcycle Officer Races Civilian on a sports bike. Your thoughts?

Not sure if you guys kept up with the news but an officer while on duty patrolling the streets ended up drag racing a civilian. Might i add he was on a harley

What are your thoughts? Is he cool for doing it or just outright wrong.

Here is the video

I think he's cool, TBH he doesn't fully screw it on just gives the dude on the 600RR a little thrill. I don't even think he breaks the speed limit. I wouldn't qualify this as street racing.

The real issue is the video went viral, a response had to be made...

It sucks he lost his job but he is a cop and should be setting the example. It seems cool to us but the end result of this shows who it pisses off.

Cool, but not smart for a police officer. I didn't realize police had Harleys to ride around on.

It's like this for a lot of police in north america. It's as common as crown victoria's are police cars. But I know some use BMW's.
