9 inch riser handlebars - chrome to black

Got a set of chrome handlebars for my street (9in risers)...but I need to black them out first. Never done this b4..so wondering should I go the distance and powder coat? Not sure of the cost..or possibly save a dime and spray paint (as properly as possible). But is that lowering the quality too much? Will it flake over time?

Powder coat would be the best option, Airbrushing would be another but I think spray painting them ( unless done really good) would show wear sooner over time because of the quality of spray paints ..just my opinion tho.

Garage
Why not just buy "Black Risers" instead?

I hate autocorrect. I always end up posting some thong I didn't Nintendo.
