Question Fork gators

Are these safe to cut off? Is there any sort of cap underneath protecting the forks from debris? If not, does anyone know of an aftermarket part for this?

My street just passed its 1k service with no issues (cold winter getting those in the past three months), so I feel more confident now making modifications without finding out I put money into a lemon. Going to do a tail tidy, drag bars/end mirrors, and fuel pack with a yet undecided high flow filter matched with my speed merchant already installed. Super excited to put these into place, but the bike will still be incomplete until I can remove those ugly gators haha!

they are just cosmetic, you can remove them without any penalty besides their look. i personally like how it makes the fork look bigger,

Took mine off moths ago and it makes the bike look a ton better (to me at least).

Check out my album for pics.

Safe riding.
