Do I need to run new lines with drag bars?

Looking to throw on some drag bars, but I'm worried about all the added slack to the lines that the lower bars will add.

I know some of you guys are rocking drag bars on here, I would appreciate the input

I have drag bars on mine. I just stuffed all the extra cable down behind the headlight fairing. Seems to be working out just fine and no issues with cables. I took the fairing off just to make sure I wouldn't run into problems with where to put the cables but everything fits great. My bars are 28" with a 2" pull as opposed to the standard width 32" bar that comes on the street

Ahhh I figured that was the option, but I pulled my cowl off and like the look much better without it.

Maybe some of the other Biltwell options are worth looking at?
They should give a similar look but take up more slack.

I have both the EMGO drag bars that tuff side sells as well as the Biltwell trackers. Currently the trackers are on my bike as I originally installed the drag bars but they caused a little bit too much forward lean that did not allow me to find a comfortable riding position with the stock foot rests. I preferred them however and as soon as I find a suitable foot set I will switch back. Trackers work well and appear to be a much higher quality than the EMGO drag bars, but they also cost $70 vs $20. I definitely preferred the control and look of the drag bars, just not the riding position. I'll take some pictures and add them soon.

Just snapped some pics with the Biltwell Trackers installed along with their recoil grips and CRG Hindsight mirrors. Love the bars and grips, again would prefer drag bars but the EMGOs were too narrow for the stock riding position. Will look to upgrade as more options become available.
