stock Air intake replacement?

Hi All,

As you know I replaced my stock exhaust with a slip on.
I was considering replacing the stock air intake, instead of the closed up, stock part.

What brand or type do you suggest? Anything additional I would need.

I just finished adding my Memphis shades windscreen and moved the front lights. Was kinda fun.

Also any suggestions what I should replace my front turn signals with? Maybe a mirror with turn signals?

I have the V&H VO2 and a FireBrand GP muffler. Note: You WILL need the V&H FP3. Or another Fuel Controller. It will run much better with.

Yes the Vance & Hines V02 air intake works very well made a difference and I have had no problems in the rain with it.
You must have a fuel controller as Tucsonmax1 said, Vance & Hines FP3 is simple and easy to use.
I have the Two Brothers Racing comp slip on exhaust and they all 3 work well together.

I will post it soon, haven't had any daylight/sun in the last two days to take one.

Just rode bike to work today, have to either move it up or tilt it. Wind is right in my face.

I can install and use these both on my own? No need for dealer?
Also I saw the controller uses Bluetooth/phone. Does it always have to be connected to phone, or can you set the tuning and leave it.?

Intake? You'll need some Metric Sockets. 10mm, Allen sockets. Blue Loctite. Not difficult. If they machined the parts right. Mine, The Hole for the venture had to be sanded. Had Burrs that prevent the Venturi from sliding through.

FP3? Smart Phone or Tablet with the V&H FP3 App installed. Connects to the Diagnostic Port underneath the Right Cover. Grey Plug with a Black rubber cap. Works through BT.
