Question Abs

Hey all, I recently bought a 2016 XG 750 and so far I'm very happy with it! I have a question though. I'm sure everybody knows the 2017 model will come with an ABS option. Will it be possible to add this on the 2016 as well?

IMHO
Doubtful, probably easier just to trade and upgrade.
New discs? Electrics?

But I am generally a negative person anyhow.

only worth retrofitting if you are totally customizing an older Street. for the casual commuter it'll be cheaper to just trade up bikes

2008 VRSCDA, locked in storage
2015 XG750 made in India
both Vivid Black
Honda Wave125 daily scooter

Not necessarily, PCM or BCM now to control the ABS computer itself, the tone rings and speed sensors, possible caliper upgrades, who knows... wait and see, but it shouldn't be that much to retrofit if the option is only $700 from the factory, as someone mentioned here on the forums... Of course, not 100% sure as what is what yet but it can be done...

Hey if you want Abs, why don't you just do more sit-ups?
I do 5-10 sit-ups every morning when I get out of bed.
I know if I do more my Abs will be more defined.

Not necessarily, you can do lots of sit-ups and have huge abs, but if you just eat crap they will be covered by fat.

Nice attempt at humour but. LOL.

And on that note.
Goodbye.
Traded the wife's Street 500 yesterday for a new white pearl Night Rod Special.
So no longer a street owner.
Thank-you, for providing answers and opinions when I needed them.
Enjoy
Happy riding
Stay safe.
