Front Fork Size???

Does anyone know what the diameter of the front forks are? I want to switch to a LED bullet style front turn signal, but need to know what size the forks are for the necessary clamps. I possibly saw on one thread that the forks are a 37mm, but only saw that once. Anyone know for sure?

Give me a minute man... I'll go outside and check for you... I'll give you the measurement in metric and standard decimal... As I recently converted to digital read outs for my calipers and micrometers... And even my dial indicators are digital now.... Pros and cons pluses and minuses...

That is correct... 1.457" or 37mm...

Now lets round up that decimal point as another member likes to do so... 1.457" so the 7 would push the 5 to a 6 and the 6 would push the 4 to a 5... so 1.5" if you have to measure by "rounding up" as another forum member states... So with that being said that would push the actual measurement to 38.1 mm and "rounding down" to just 38 mm... and that's make or break it in areas of super tight tolerances... I am sure the offset to the technical measurement 1.457" is 37.0078 mm is from my zero being slightly off but the average of the measurements every time was 37 mm... Measure twice and twice again...
