Now lets round up that decimal point as another member likes to do so... 1.457" so the 7 would push the 5 to a 6 and the 6 would push the 4 to a 5... so 1.5" if you have to measure by "rounding up" as another forum member states... So with that being said that would push the actual measurement to 38.1 mm and "rounding down" to just 38 mm... and that's make or break it in areas of super tight tolerances... I am sure the offset to the technical measurement 1.457" is 37.0078 mm is from my zero being slightly off but the average of the measurements every time was 37 mm... Measure twice and twice again...
