Re-routing Clutch Cable

So I've added 8"inch mini apes to my bike and have been able to re-route all the wires except the clutch. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to re-route the cable? It'd be great if I didn't have to remove the tank but if that's the only way then it's what I'll have to do.

When I switched out the clutch cable for the reduce reach handle bar...Cable 1 inch longer than stock....I just removed the bolts for the gas tank and lifted the tank up on the seat end (without removing tank) and just pulled out the stock cable and put the new one in. Plenty of room and only one plastic tie was supporting the oem cable and the tie was not zipped up. I routed the same way as the stock cable.

Did the same thing when I ran a USB power cable under the tank. Just remove the tank nut, and you can lift the tank several inches and should be able to easily route a cable under there. If it's a squishy/thin cable like a USB cable, tape it to a straightened coat hanger and send that through. For a thick cable like a clutch cable you should be able to push it right through.
