Helmet support

First thanks to everyone ...

I've found here a lot of information to get the best from my xg750 (like support for the mirrors, exhaust and much more).
I recently made a support for not taking away my helmet every time and here I put some photos of the result.
It works...

For the future I hope to find adjustable levers that at the moment no one seems to produce for the Street. (I've tried Dimotive but do not produce them anymore).
Thanks
Marco from Italy

I used to hook mine back there. The clasp was just wide enough to catch the bolt. I got a new helmet and had to relocate, as it has a different buckle system so I installed a little hook on the right handlebar cable bracket.

It's not going to stop a thief, but I try not to park in too rough of an area and if I do, my helmet comes with me.

I wound up putting my H-D chrome helmet lock on the crash bar. I may wind up removing it, because everything else on the bike is blacked out. I also made the mistake of putting on the right side, so the helmet hangs down against the bike instead of hanging away from it.

If you have the "black denim" paint job, this write-up says that Colorrite HD Black Denim is a dead ringer. Shouldn't take much to do your helmet lock.

Let me know if you give this a try, as I want to paint my gas cap and a few other items to get a good match.

Shortly after I installed the chrome lock from H-D I stumbled across several nearly identical locks on Amazon, except in black, that would also bolt onto 1.25" tubing. I might switch to one of those, or just a cable lock that I could run through the sari guards I use as saddle bag supports. Going with a cable lock would let me lock my jacket to the bike as sell as the helmet.
