Came to my bike this morning and noticed the ring around the speedo has been pushed in / bent.

Any ideas if this ring can be replaced or is it a new speedo job?

By looking at the parts diagram, it kinda looks like that ring is not a separate piece, it appears to be integrated to the speedometer.

If so, a replacement part 70900761 would be necessary. Maybe you could find one on ebay, or a junkyard or something? It's $232 retail; you could get it at Surdyke for a little less, about $176.

Thanks for the info mate.
Seems like a costly exercise!

Ill keep my eye out on eBay and hopefully snap up a second hand one.

One thing. I think the Odometer needs to be reset by the dealer.

I know that if you send the speedo back to the factory they can replace with another that is programmed with same miles. Dealers cannot do this, but they will facilitate sending to the factory. Possibly the factory can repair a trim ring for less than replacement cost. Or maybe you could buy a used speedo and swap the trim rings if that is possible to reseal against moisture.
