Last year I started delivering for Uber Eats. I noticed in the app they support delivery on motorcycle, as the Honda Sabre I was riding was an option. It had tons of storage, bags, luggage rack, etc. So I started delivering on the bike. Fast forward to last month (when my wife and I purchased our first new Harley), I needed a solution to deliver food on the new bike.
I started looking and just didn't see anything online that would fit my needs. A Givi box just wasn't going to hold 4 entrees from Happy Mexican. So I decided a DIY mod would be in order. Headed to the local Walmart and started looking at my options. I finally settled on a large Sterilite container
. I was able to cut a rectangle large enough to fit it down over the removal sissybar seat (came with the bike) and bolted/bungeed it down really secure. The end result is a ton of storage that doesn't look as bad as the purple crate that lived there before it. Now I can carry multiple orders, drinks, and up to a 10" pizza! It also comes in handy for medium sized trips to the grocery store.
