Removing/ changing rear tail

Hello people.

I wanted to know if there's anyway to change or customize the rear tail of the street 750?

thats the only part of the bike that looks ugly for me. I think it looks better on the street ROD!

Does anyone have any tutorials or even ideas how to change and replace it? Maybe elevate it like the street ROD's tail?

I looked all over and theres very little mods or ways to change the tail. thank you!

Removing/ changing rear tail

Hi Ari K.

The wife has just asked me how can I change the rear end on her bike. She wants hers to look more like an 883/48 back end and put a solo seat on it. I will attach some pics of streets that have been altered with normal fenders. She prefers the Street Rods rear aswell.

Theres the rear frame to cut off and Im reluctant to do that on a newish bike.

I have just noticed the rear fender has been cut to fit over the frame. The rear hoop has still been cut off tho. Hmmm, wheres the grinder. Wife is at work, idle hands and all that.

I have just bought a sportster rear fender off ebay for £35 delivered.

Custom tail and backrest

Here's a pic on my ride. You will see many changes away from the original.

Lots of custom work on this bike. Yes, the tail is fully new. Designed the pillion backrest out of paper along with the front fly screen and then made it out of steel. Suspension, front and back are new. Rims from a Superlow. There is much more too.

Looks pretty nice. I prefer to keep my original tail/braking light because people in cars don't keep you in their sights...
