Burly slammer shocks with saddlebags?

As it says above. I've decided I want to go with the burly slammer 10.5 shocks, because I love the look of it lowered in the rear. I also pick up groceries occasionally, or take gear on long trips, so I'm looking into saddlebags. Now I'm debating on the Viking Lamellar Large Painted Shock Cutout Hard Saddlebags For Harley Street 750, or to go with the larger black saddlebags with the Sportster quick mount setup. In dropping the height, I realize it will bring the bags closer to the exhaust. Has anyone done this. And/or had any issues with exhaust being too close to the bags.
