Which intake filter?

Good morning everyone, I already have the V&H comp exhaust, and K&N filter in the stock housing. I put on some forward controls last year, and while i love them, I had to put extensions to work around the filter and ignition coil. I can drop the coil cover which I don't much care about either way. The filter, however, is another beast altogether. I need it to be less obtrusive so I can drop those extensions, and also, the stock filter housing still restricts airflow.

I can either go for the V&H VO2 with a rainsock or a K&N 63-1130 with a rainsock. I like K&N but looks like it would result in the same problem with sticking out too far.. Any thoughts from owners who have either of these filter solutions?

I went with the V&H Naked, that kept the add ons all V&H; I also have the V&H Comp exhaust. I love the combo, and has more zip than I can handle.
