Plastic ...

A few parts on our streets are simply like matt grey plastic and well I thought they looked cheap and tacky ... Metal replacements are absolutely extortionate!

Buddy of mine helped me out here in the UK with some gloss ... before and after shots for you!

There gloss painted, a little bit of prep has been done by him and a good polish afterwards. Gives them the high quality metal look finish!

Looks good. The stain finish was not to be cheap it is kind of the new thing. Kind of a wash and go look. We all know tough ass bikers don't do shinny paint now days.

Those aren't the pieces that bother me so much as the black plastic "speed screen" fairing. For years I've been thinking of getting the Memphis Shades batwing fairing. When I do I am thinking about sending it and the stock fairing out to be color matched to the bike.
