Vance & Hines FuelPak 3 Updates!!!!!!!

Just wanted to let those who are using the FP3 on their Street Rod they just updated the firmware to include both idle and redline RPM adjustments.

I personally lowered the fully warm idle RPM to 1050 (last 2 cells) and raised the redline to 9500. I should be able to ride today to test this out if it warms enough.

They also updated the app for the iPhoneX which is good because the screens were a bit f'd up when I tried to use it with my new phone.

Ooh, I like the idea of lowering the idle speed, it always seems too fast even when warm.
Getting closer to buying it.

The idle adjustment feature worked great-1100 seems like the sweet spot. The redline adjustment......not so much. I moved it to 9500RPM. The bike wouldn't rev over 6500 no matter what adjustments I made. I even flashed an old tune into the bike and then back to the one I was running. I have an email into my CSR rep at V&H's. We'll sort this out.

Ah, that's a bit concerning then Scooter, I mean only revving to 6 and a 1/2, what does it think it is, a Harley?

I'm pretty much done with the FP3. I have ordered a Power Vision kit from FuelMoto and will be taking the bike to the selling dealer for a dyno tune.

Give us all the lowdown Scooter, have you had no joy from V&H, FP3 suffered a meltdown or what? I'll google Power Vision in the meantime!

That's a pricey piece of kit at $549.

The FP3 tune I used on my Street 750 opened up the rev limit by about 500 RPMs. I didn't try to manually adjust it beyond that.

(And just to be the warranty nag, since you're both talking about 2017 models, just be aware that using the FP3 or PowerVision or any such tuning product will immediately void your factory warranty on a 2017 or later Harley).

My selling dealer has a don't ask don't tell policy with their customers. This was clarified with the service manager. I have dealt with them for years. He told me just don't say anything to corporate and they won't.
