Piggy back shocks

Has anu of the street rod owners had any problems with the paint bubbling up on the top of the rear shocks on the resivoir and around where the HD bar and shield are? Also is it normal for the rear pulley paint to be flaking off or is that a stupid question? Will post a pic later

No, can't say I did. Mine did suffer from aluminium oxide, that white almost mould like growth on the edge of the fins and throttle body. It all depends on the climate you ride and store your bike in, though the Street family are definitely painted down to a price. I was never that taken with the quality as in durability of the cosmetics.
