Hi All,

I've been following this forum since few months and this is my first post

I'm new to the bike scene and have been learning quite a few things from all you guys

I have booked the street 750 in Bangalore few months back and expecting the delivery in December, hopefully.

Now my question is, my sister is coming to India from USA and I can ask her to get me some accessories for the street 750. Could you guys please suggest me any accessories that we don't have in India or are much cheaper in the USA including the riding gear?

Welcome to the forum. We do not have the India price sheets here. Maybe you could use the harley website and take a look at USA pricing to help your decision.

I think this is a difficult question since most people know stuff about only their own market. I think that you'd have to do some research and digging yourself on this one.

My replies are being moderated so it's taking a bit time to show up. I always felt you have a lot of options and varieties in US compared to India. In India currently we are limited to the ones available with HD so you can safely assume we really don't have much options here. I've seen many people ordering from ebay and paying much more for customs and shipping.

For example V&H exhaust is available in the USA but not in India. They are not even shipping it.

I'm not sure what are the accessories that are worth it. I may have a better idea once I start riding and exploring the bike but I may not have someone who could bring it for me later:-(

I know it's difficult to answer as everyone's preferences vary but if you guys can point to some of the accessories that are kinda must have's, I can explore Not just the bike, riding gear or safety equipment or anything.

I can suggest that you visit some online stores like J&P Cycles, Revzilla, west End Sports an such like to get an idea of all that is available. Mind you, there is tons of stuff to be had and it costs as much as 40% lesser in the US. I can suggest that you ask for Firebrand Loose Cannon Slip on exhaust, HD day maker headlight, LED turn and brake lights, foot boards or pegs, brake accessories and such like stuff that you may fancy. The choice is yours once you see what is available.

I would suggest that along with staying on top of what gets posted in this forum, that you also always check ebay and amazon for any new products that pop up as some vendors are quick to throw their products up their.

Good point, it might be worth it to speak with a few dealers to see what they have, hopefully they have the catalog.
