All I can see is it described as "silver". To each his/her own, not my cup of tea though.

Reason I asked about possible colors is I'm not a big fan of all black. Not turned off enough to not consider the Street 500/750 mind you, just wouldn't be my first choice IF I had an opportunity to choose from other colors schemes.

Personally I like the glint blue metallic on my '09 Rebel.:D

Have a close look on the HD site in the photos area for the street 500/750 series.

There is shot there with 3 of the bikes taken at night parked outside a café/bar type place. Look carefully, the one on the far left appears to have a red tank.

Dang, Harley must be holding out on some stuff. I'd love to see one on red. I do now see the bike the woman is climbing on has the Harley orange on the tank and fender.

BTW, not color related but... check this photo out. The black pipes aren't really the pipes after all. What we see are heat shields or just a styling trick to make the pipes appear larger than they really are. Notice the smaller diameter RUSTY pipe coming off the front cylinder? Not cool.

And another thing that caught my eye is the bunched up wires. Looks like a mess that needs to be cleaned up or hidden. Hopefully that can be sorted out before the actual production model of the HD Street comes out.

I assume you're referring to the one's in front of the tank. Yes that is kind of tacky looking. I agree, hopefully it's small things HD needs to sort out before production models hit the showrooms.

You would assume that Harley would offer something with orange on it. After all, Harley's colors are black and orange. I'm not really sure what other colors I would expect.
To me, and I say again TO ME Harley needs to break away from the bada** black, biker, tough guy image. To truly reach out to a new group of potential buyers they could try maybe.... white, red, blue... Metric cruisers are sold in alot of different colors, IMO if Harley want's to grab some of that market an image change is needed.

Just my .02 worth.

I did notice that firehawk. What really worries me about the Street 500 and 750 is I have a BAD feeling Harley is wandering down the path of brand dilution. Some great companies are doing it now hunting for growth all over the market. The most popular one now is reaching downmarket. Mercedes is doing it with the CLA and destroying their rep for quality all in the name of on boarding poor young people to a dying brand.

I really hope Harley Street 500 and 750 do not suffer from the same poor build quality and shyster marketing tactics as the CLA has. But I doubt it.

And if this is supposed to be someones first harley, do they really want to make an impression with THAT build quality?
