Avantree HM100P motorcycle helmet bluetooth speakers motorcycle intercom helmet kit support GPS A2DP stereo music stream, accordance withIPX6, water proof, specially designed for motorcycle rider
____________________________________________

I seen this on amazon and was wondering if anyone uses a Bluetooth headset in their helmet?....or even this one?

there are times when I miss a call while riding and don't see I have a missed call for a while, and think this would be useful, especially if my wife needed to get ahold of me sooner rather than later, but I am wondering how well they work on a motorcycle.

I have a Bluetooth door lock on our house and my wife uses Bluetooth in her SUV for hands free calling, but me personally, I never used one myself.

this unit has the ability for a driver and passenger to both be connected to Bluetooth for intercom, but I never carry passengers anymore, but I would like to listen to Pandora radio, gps turn by turn or obviously for hands free calling or talking briefly on the phone.

any other suggestions from your experience would be appreciated!

Hi mate,

I used a SENA S10(from memory?) for a few years. til my helmet and bike got written off(run over while parked outside a police station).
Think they were 200 bucks at the time, probably a lot cheaper for that model now.

They now have newer models of course. the speakers were only lacking in deep bass(which didn't worry me that much)
Calls were crystal clear too

I didnt replace it though as i found i hardly used it,(had it on my full face), as i wore my open face mostly.

My helmet has BlueTooth built in. I like that I can hear my GPS directions from my phone as well as music. I've tried it a couple times for phone calls but my wife says she can barely hear me. I don't want to be on the phone anyway!

Blinc M1

I use the Blinc M1 Bluetooth, with integrates nicely on my fullface helmet. The FM radio is a little suspect, you only get a few stations at any given time, but the bluetooth functionality is great. I hear calls fine up to about 60mph, and my music from my phone at any speed, high quality. Its about 130 bucks from Amazon.

you can take a look at this: Amazon.com: Vertix Raptor-i Wireless Motorbike Motorcycle Helmet Communicator with Intercom Function and Wired Mic Headset for Full Face Helmet: Automotive

Once paired to the Raptor, incoming calls are automatically answered after a few rings. Audio information from GPS unit can be received and it will auto switch to phone for incoming calls. Phone and intercom quality was good for speeds up to about 90mph. Music quality via Bluetooth was good even at high speeds.
